David Lopez, 28, was docketed on charges of murder and tampering with evidence and is being held in lieu of $1 million cash or bond bail back here in Mercer County. 
Meridian, ID: Meridian Police say a 38-year-old Boise man shot and killed his 3-year-old daughter and then later killed himself. The Ada County Coroner's Office says Andrew Davis was at the Majestic Cinemas in Meridian Thursday when he killed his daughter, Natasha Echon-Davis. 
St. Louis, MO: Police say they do not know what led a man to shoot his wife and her teenage daughter before turning the gun on himself Thursday morning in St. Louis' Boulevard Heights neighborhood. The gunman, Lawrence Verble, 41, died from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, police said. Jessica Beckwith, 16, died from a gunshot to her chest, police said. 
Canton, OH: Police in Canton have one person under arrest after the body of a missing 25-year-old woman was found in the trunk of a car Thursday morning. According to a news release from the Canton Police Chief Dean McKimm, the woman’s family reported Monique Crockett missing Thursday after not seeing her since May 13. » 
Houston, TX: A Houston man has been charged with capital murder in the deaths of a woman and her adult son who were found shot in their south Houston home Saturday afternoon, authorities said. Jeffery Keith Prevost, 51, was charged early Sunday with killing the pair on Friday, Assistant Harris County District Attorney Donna Hawkins said. Family members asked police to check on Sherry White, 51, and her son, Kyle Lavergne, about 12:30 p.m. Saturday because they were not responding to calls. » 
Hanover Township, PA: One by one, they took a blue Sharpie in their hands, crouched on the stoop only a few feet from where Shana Bagley died and wrote final words of love on a blue poster with her photo. "God gained a beautiful angel." "Gone but never forgotten. You will be in our hearts 4ever." "I love you so much babygirl. So glad to have you as an angel." Friends and family joined together for a vigil in Bagley's honor Saturday night, one day after Bagley was killed and her husband, Brad, and another neighbor were shot.

Ellwood City, PA: Authorities are investigating after a young woman was found dead inside her home in Ellwood City on Sunday morning. Police said when they arrived at the home at 804 Pershing St. Sunday morning, they found Joie Lordi, 20, dead in the home with her infant child and former live-in boyfriend inside. 
Jackson, MS: Dianne Hearn disappeared Sunday night after she was forced into George Affleck's truck at her modest home on Tree Haven. A Neighbor said: "Yeah, he picked her up and slammed her in there. He told her if she dared to even try to open that door that she would be sorry." WLBT was told the south Jackson resident died a violent death. Authorities tell us her body was dumped about 15-20 yards from the interstate. 
Phenix City, AL: Police tell us Sylvester Davis has been charged with the murder of a Phenix City, AL mom. The body of Yamisha Thomas, 30, was found in a shallow grave in Phenix City about a month after her family reported her missing. 
Lockhart, TX: A couple’s walk home from a night at a downtown Lockhart bar left one dead and another charged with murder. Michael Perez, 41, turned himself in after his girlfriend, Angie Mendez, died from injuries that police say he caused. 
Lake Charles, LA: Officials with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office have identified the victims of an apparent murder-suicide under investigation since Monday morning. According to the CPSO, an 11-year-old boy found his mother, 38-year-old Sheree Lynn Cruz, and 39-year-old Adam Keith Brown both dead, suffering gunshot wounds. 
Big Island, HI: Big Island police have arrested a Washington man for murder in connection with a fatal domestic disturbance at a resort on the Kohala Coast. The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Susan Brockert of Bellevue, Washington. Police arrested her alleged assailant, 46-year-old Philip Howard Zimmerman, also of Bellevue Washington. Police say Zimmerman and Brockert were registered at the resort together. 
Vancouver, WA: Court documents reveal the gruesome chain of events that led police to solving the murder of a Vancouver woman. They found the body of 41-year-old Kori Fredericksen of Vancouver dumped miles from her house early Thursday morning. Fredericksen’s live-in boyfriend, 44-year-old Dennis L. Wolter, was found by police covered in blood before anyone knew something had happened to her. 
Superior, MT: Prosecutors say a woman who they say was strangled to death tried to call for "help", but the call dropped before dispatchers could learn what was going on. That new information is contained in the charging papers filed in court Monday against 52-year old Michael John Woodard, who now stands accused of murdering his ex-wife Kelly Jo Dube-Woodard in late May. 
Enumclaw, WA: The Enumclaw Police Department reported officers are investigating two deaths as an alleged homicide-suicide case that occurred Friday evening, May 27. The police department has released the names of the two, Zachary and Amy Erwin, both 42 years old. 
Roanoke, VA: A Franklin County Sheriff's Deputy stands accused of a shooting rampage that ended with his ex-wife dead, and a Virginia State Police trooper shot. Roanoke City Police say the shootings began around 11:30 a.m. Police Chief Chris Perkins said investigators believe that Franklin Co. Deputy Jonathan Agee, 32, of Boones Mill, followed a truck being driven by his ex-wife, Jennifer Agee, 30, of Salem, into the Williamson Road Sheetz, across from the Roanoke Civic Center. 
Mount Morris, NY: State police are investigating a murder-suicide in Mt. Morris that occurred Monday. Investigators say James Layland, 48, entered his wife’s residence at 11 Glenn Morris Ave. and shot and killed his wife, Mary Layland, 47, and then shot and killed himself. 
Jacksonville, FL: The estranged husband of a Fruit Cove woman who was shot to death nearly three months ago has been charged with first-degree murder in her death. Sean A. Bush, 42, of 5142 Attleboro St., Jacksonville, was arrested at his home Friday, charged with killing Nicole Elise Bush, 35, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office. 
Jennings, LA: A Jennings man is under arrest, accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend. Tuesday, police in Jennings responded to an aggravated battery call. Police say the , victim 31-year-old Shawntell George was struck in the head by 43-year-old Villnon Botley Jr. with a metal pole. 
Gaithersburg, MD: A Gaithersburg man going through a "messy divorce" killed his 12-year-old step-daughter by stabbing her more than 40 times, authorities said. Prosecutor Stephen Chaikin described the brutal slaying at a bond hearing Wednesday for 42-year-old David R. Hang, who is charged with first-degree murder in Jessica Nguyen's May 31 death. "He was very angry at the victim's family," Chaikin said. Hang and Nguyen's mother were in the middle of a contested divorce, according to officials and court papers.
